How to find clothes from a TikTok video

5 min read

You saw the coat. The creator said “link in bio”. The bio has 40 links and none of them is the coat. Here is every way to track it down, from slowest to fastest.

1. Read the comments

Someone has usually asked already. Sort by top comments and look for replies from the creator. It works, but on a big video you can scroll for ten minutes and still find only “same question”.

2. Screenshot and reverse image search

Pause on a clear frame, screenshot it and run it through an image search. You’ll get lookalikes, often from resellers. The more the piece is styled, cropped or moving, the worse this gets.

3. Read the tags yourself

Fitting-room videos often flash the price tag or the product number. Pause, zoom and type the reference into the shop’s search. This is the most accurate way, and the most tedious.

4. Paste the link into Lookfind

Copy the TikTok link (Share → Copy link) and paste it into Lookfind. We watch the video, read the caption and any tags on screen, and look every piece up in shops. You get a list with photos, prices and links in about a minute, and it stays in your finds.

Only public videos work. If the video opens without logging in, we can read it.
